Texas Instruments Inc. shares swung to a gain in the extended session Tuesday, with other chip-maker shares also gaining, after the analog chip bellwether gave Wall Street much better visibility into a hoped-for market recovery.
TI TXN shares, which had initially declined as much as 2.5% after hours as the company’s cautious outlook overshadowed its earnings beat, swung to a gain of around 1.5% by the close of the company’s call with analysts.
