The contest to become the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nominee is heating up, with Nikki Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the UN, due to announce her run next week.
Another notable move is South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott’s plan to make speeches later this month in Iowa, a key primary state.
And former President Donald Trump also has been visiting primary states recently, after announcing back in November that he’s running again.

Meanwhile, President Joe Biden appears poised to announce in early spring that he’ll run for president again in 2024. He repeatedly said “Let’s finish the job” in his State of the Union speech on Tuesday, and it’s possible that line will be featured in his re-election campaign.
